Welcome to the 2024-2025 School Year Maverick Families!

Hello Mavericks!

My name is Angela Hart and I am your MCMS PTO President for the 2024-2025 school year. A little about me, I have served the last two school years as the MCMS PTO Communication Chair and before that I served as the MCES PTO Communication Chair for two years and the MCES PTO Volunteer Chair for one year. I've volunteered on the Mill Creek campus since 2017 and this year I will have two middle schoolers! 

The MCMS PTO has had amazing success over the last couple of years, raising thousands of dollars with YOUR help! We have purchased much-needed technology items for the school, hosted events such as Mav Monster Mash and March Mavness, showered our teachers and staff with love and goodies during Teacher Appreciation Week and monthly Hospitality events, continued our support of Spring Day and we can't leave out a student favorite fundraiser...Chick-fil-A lunches!

We are bringing all of these back for the 2024-2025 school year with the help of our fabulous Board Volunteers and YOUR support!  By joining the PTO, donating to Invest In Your Maverick (formerly known as Raise The Creek), purchasing City Saver subscriptions, buying Chick-fil-A lunches, and letting your kiddos attend our events WE can make sure our Maverick Community is one of the best in the county! 

Our focus for this year is the same as last year. Our school has been open for 8 years, and all our technology is nearing or has surpassed its lifespan and needs replacing. But it's not just about the technology, one of our next biggest expenditures as a PTO is general school needs and student/staff morale. WCS runs a tight budget and PTOs/Boosters in the county continually raise a combined 10 million plus a year to help fund things the county does not.

      How can you help us reach our goals?

• Join the PTO for $25. 
• Donate to Invest In Your Maverick (Raise the Creek). This is the ONLY fundraiser that we will ask you for money. Kick-off is coming soon!
